Ven teaches Samatha and Vipassana meditation based on the Tipitaka and its commentaries, notably the Visuddhimagga. Beginning with ànàpànasati and four- elements meditation, the teaching is organized into the 3 trainings of sīla, samādhi and pannà, further refined into the seven stages of purification. With sīla as foundation, strong samādhi is developed to discern ultimate materiality and mentality, and the workings of dependent origination. In Vipassana, through the systematic discerning of the five aggregates as impermanent, suffering and non-self, progress is made through the insight knowledges while purifying the mind of defilements, to attain Nibbāna.
